Toni Collette was wasted here – someone had the idea that weary disdain conveys power. Alas.
I’d hoped the cast could keep it from buckling under its own pressure, but no.
Brilliant but flawed – made its points twice too often, and never truly took a take a stand.
I couldn’t possibly love this film any more.
