Awe
- An overwhelming feeling of reverence, admiration, fear, etc., produced by that which is grand, sublime, extremely powerful, or the like.
It’s good sometimes to be reminded of the world outside our own awareness ~ there is magnitude surrounding us, some for our good, some not. As Shakespeare (ahem, de Vere) wrote, “There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.” Indeed. Following are excellent explorations of people encountering realities far beyond the ordinary.
