Death and Dying
- The end of life, and the process of facing it once it appears imminent, including the philosophical approach, decisions, and emotions experienced (either one’s own or that of a beloved).
We all recognize death as an intellectual fact and perhaps spiritual concept, but no matter how completely we believe in its implications, it cannot be understood except firsthand. Following are excellent illustrations of people facing it squarely, and of those sharing the experience with them.
