Fairness
- The state, condition, or quality of being fair, or free from bias or injustice; evenhandedness.
Learning the lesson “Life isn’t fair” is one of childhood’s greatest bummers; instinctively we know that it should be. Thus we can either succumb and become opportunistic, or realize that fairness makes the world a better place and remains a value worth holding ~ and when reality trumps, we turn to justice. Following are excellent illustrations of people practicing fairness, seeking it, and responding to its absence.
