Loss
- The state of being deprived of or of being without something that one has had.
Loss can take so many forms, and when losses stack up without resolution, or in too quick succession, or with too much magnitude, they can trip us into depression, addiction, bitterness, and despair. Loss can be of the hope of ever experiencing something, the gaping hole left by something valued now gone, or even limbo itself. Loss must be processed and put into context lest a strong, happy, meaningful life its very self become one.
