Self-Confidence
- Belief in the powers, trustworthiness, or reliability of oneself.
Self-confidence is a blend of self-acceptance, trust, and optimism; acceptance of and positive regard for one’s temperament and abilities coupled with trust that one will not sabotage one’s own efforts, topped off with a healthy dose of benefit of the doubt. Self-confidence is not arrogance.
