Spirituality
- Concern with things of the spirit, esp as contrasted with material or temporal ones.
Where faith relates to trusting in the power of a force larger than we, spirituality relates to our personal communion with it, and both or neither can relate to affiliation with a particular religious per se. Spirituality is the path we walk toward understanding the cosmos and creator, and our relationship to both. Following are excellent illustrations of people gaining a sense of their own place in the scheme of things and that of those around them.
