Trauma
- Psychological or emotional injury caused by a deeply disturbing experience.
Whether or not engaging professional help or not (always the preferred course), trauma is much like grief in that coping strategies vary widely. Following are excellent illustrations of people facing traumatic events with the emotional resources they have at hand.
