It won’t endure, but it’s a nice movie night option and Perry’s the perfect Alex Cross.
Gere is at the top of his game, we’re back in the rarefied air of An Officer and a Gentlemen, Pretty Woman, and Unfaithful.
[Magnificent] Excellent in its own right, and Gilroy’s laid the groundwork for a whole new (even better?) conversation.
[Great] Satire is *scathing*, comedy is hilarious, performances spot-on. Riotous.
[Great] Deliciously dark, menacing, and relentless. Good times.
[Magnificent.] In the hierarchy of inexorable tragedy, this one ties with Romeo and Juliet.
[Magnificent.] There’s not a whole lot to say, except that Ghost Protocol is quite simply everything one could possibly want in an action film.
[Time Very Well Spent] The action sequences delight, and it would be a fine action flick in its own right… all the better (and more unsettling) because it’s based in fact.
